Winter Holiday - Week one

William's second term of school finished on Friday, July 6. We were all very pleased that it ended on such a good note. To his surprise (and pleasure!), he was presented with a "Silver Award" at the school assembly that day. This means that he has been working very, very hard!

So began our two weeks of school holiday - "winter" holiday. Unfortunately, Ian's break wouldn't start for another week so William and I were on our own to start. We did a variety of things. William attended a half day indoor cricket clinic (and loved it), and we went to the new kid's Discovery Zone at the Australian National War Memorial (it was more than awesome!) with our friends Jodi and Grace Cooper.

We also spent a day with our friend Reilly O'Grady including a trip to Questacon (the kids science and technology museum) and lots of floor hockey, and met up with some classmates at the Fun Factory, for just that - fun! Here are a few pics.......(check back later for more....)

Reilly and William outside Questacon.....what can I say????!!!!
